2016 National Agreement for Residential and Light Commercial Construction
The agreement contains updates to Schedule A.
Additionally, the following changes are in or will become in effect:
- AT1 and AT2 trainees trade levels have been replaced by MC, MD and ME metal trades trade levels.
- Decreases in the non retiree Welfare and Defined Contributions amounts.
- Increases in the Member wages.

2014 National Agreement for Residential and Light Commercial Construction
Note: There are no changes to this wage package for 2015.
The following is an update to Schedule A. The total contributions and total package amounts are identical to the 2013 Schedule A. The only seeming change is that the single Welfare Fund has been split between the “Welfare” and “Retiree Welfare” funds. The total amounts when added together are still $12.53 for journeymen and $7.53 for apprentices. There are no changes to your reporting. this is for accounting purposes only.
Additionally, the following changes are in or will become in effect:
- Schedule B expired as of June 1, 2014.
- The 401(K) Program will no longer allow for elective deferrals after July 30st
- The Savings Program has become voluntary.
